The 877km Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), connecting the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) at the Greek-Turkish border to Italy’s gas network, is exploring hydrogen integration to support capacity expansion, sustainability, and regional decarbonisation. H2 View understands that the deal with NER will support the Danish firm in de-risking their development and customers’ green hydrogen and power-to-X projects that will utilise Topsoe’s SOEC technology, such as First Ammonia. Furthermore, the deal could improve the rollout timelines of green hydrogen projects to deliver on the growing global demand.
