In a bid to “meet diverse needs” and address “industry pain points,” Sungrow has added a 10MW+ alkaline electrolyser testing platform and a 2.5MW PEM testing system. The Chinese electrolyser manufacturer has stated its alkaline platform can achieve full-scenario testing capabilities, including stack testing (1,000-3,000Nm3/hr) and 4×1,000Nm3/hr multi-stack system coordination. Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), H2Terminals will supply hydrogen from its offshore Energy Island project located in the North Sea, which will be liquefied and transported by specialised vessels to terminals on the Thames Estuary.
