
The European Commission’s Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA), unveiled in March, was expected to strengthen Europe’s clean-tech manufacturing while accelerating decarbonisation.
Instead, its release has been met with an unusual mix of industry silence and calls for stronger support from the hydrogen sector.
The unveiled proposal IAA had been watered down following 11th-hour amendments, leaving the industry calling for an array of changes from the European Parliament and Council.
