Walker, formerly Senior Vice President, Midstream and Marketing for Occidental Petroleum Corporation, will be responsible for building business in the US and Canada. TES’ model combines hydrogen with recycled carbon dioxide (CO2) to create a Net Zero closed loop.

It marks another significant move from the green hydrogen company, which appointed Yves Vercammen as Chief Corporate Officer last month.

She has 24 years’ leadership experience in the energy industry, covering P&L, operations, corporate and business development, commercial marketing, strategic planning and financial functions.

Prior to Occidental, she was a Managing Director within the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, and Independent Director at Sempra and Chord Energy.

Walker said TES, which announced fundraising of €65m in July, has the potential to unlock all energy priorities today with North America positioned to play a key role. It supplies long-term carbon-neutral energy on demand at industrial scale.
