The European operation will be undertaken with Dr. Cristiano Uva, an experienced legal, financial, and entrepreneurial businessman, having worked at institutions such as Goldman Sachs, AXA Investment Managers, as well as taking on CEO roles at Oltremare and Caleido Group.
With its European presence, RI plans to address the needs of customers with a regional expert. “We are excited to roll-out our hydrogen fuel systems and applications throughout Europe,” said Robert Mount, CEO and co-founder of Renewable Innovations.
Mount added, “Europe is paving the way to address a green sustainable future and is adopting technologies like ours faster than the US.”
RI in December last year (2022), announced a merger with Nestbuilder.com Corp, bringing it to the public markets.

H2 View understands in the near-term, RI will focus on the roll-out of a “sizeable” proprietary network of grid-independent, hydrogen-powered EV fast charging stations, as well as the supply of its entire portfolio of hydrogen-based applications.
The company in 2022 announced it had kicked off a partnership with General Motors to develop a Mobile Power Generator (MPG) to deliver fast charging to electric vehicles, and an EMPOWER rapid charger for retail refuelling stations.

“We’re planning on building our 1MW power systems, which initially will be used for larger-scale EV rapid charging in locations such as convenience stores and fleet charging centres,” Mount said. “These can also be used for backup power and are totally grid independent. The big thing here, however, is that we will be getting these commercially certified.”
