Scheduled for delivery to the US group by 2024, the vehicles are set to be operated via the company’s Quantron-as-a-Service (QaaS), a platform to offer zero-emission solutions to customers on a per-mile basis, based on total cost of ownership (TCO).
H2 View understands TMP Logistics is a group of more than a dozen trucking, logistics, and related software companies in the US, including the National Freight group, the ‘largest’ linehaul contractor in the nation for FedEx Ground.
Reached at the Hydrogen Americas Summit in Washington DC, US, the agreement has received the backing of the Germany Embassy and the Chamber of Foreign Trade, who were in attendance during a delegation trip.
On Tuesday (October 11) Quantron announced it had founded its US business, Quantron US, with a target of achieving 50% of the company’s turnover in North American by 2025.

Quantron unveiled its QHM fuel cell electric heavy duty truck at IAA Transportation in September 2022. Integrating Ballard’s FCmove™-XD 120kW fuel cell, and a 54kg hydrogen tank, the company believe the truck can travel up to 700km.

“With our contribution of 500 heavy-duty FCEV trucks, we support the $8bn hydrogen programme funded by President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and are pleased to spearhead the effort to help businesses and communities across the country benefit from clean energy and hydrogen investments.”
