Ciotti spent 25 years working in industrial gas industry across a variety of engineering and management roles. For the past 18 years he worked exclusively on developing projects, including the design of hydrogen refuelling stations for material handling, light- and heavy-duty vehicles.

PDC has said he will bring extensive knowledge about growing the market for solutions to fuel zero-emission vehicles, noting his experience within the hydrogen energy ecosystem.

The company in a statement wrote, “We are thrilled to add Michael to the PDC team, and fortunate to have his guidance as we position ourselves, and our products, to keep up with the ever-evolving marketplace surrounding decarbonised mobility.”

In 2021, PDC Machines stepped up its commitment to serving the global hydrogen economy when it announced it had signed a lease on a new facility in Pennsylvania, US to increase its production capacity of its diaphragm gas compressors.
