Alexandre Brunet will now head up McPhy’s finance and IT functions. Having worked as Head of Investor Relations at Schneider Electrical, and latterly as chief financial officer of operational multinational entities, McPhy believe Brunet’s experience will support its transition to industrial scale.
McPhy has made significant strides in establishing green hydrogen production capacity and refuelling infrastructure. In March this year (2022), it announced it was accelerating the growth of its electrolyser manufacturing to support large-scale hydrogen production.
Additionally, the company revealed it has signed an agreement with Hype to see the companies work together to equip a 2MW alkaline electrolyser to a French hydrogen station network.
Commenting on Brunet’s appointment, Jean-Baptiste Lucas, CEO of McPhy Energy, said, “We are delighted to welcome Alexandre Brunet as Chief Financial Officer of McPhy. His Operational and managerial experience acquired in large international groups will enable him to support our transition to industrial scale.”
