Linde CEO Sanjiv Lamba warned the economic challenges facing green hydrogen go far beyond electrolyser costs, even as Chinese manufacturers drive down prices.

Speaking during the industrial gas major’s Q3 results, Lamba said China’s alkaline electrolyser cost curve has been declining for “some time,” and expects the systems to be a “very good option” for green hydrogen projects.
