Lhyfe supplies green hydrogen to Teal-operated station on French motorway

The station, operated by Air Liquide and TotalEnergies joint venture Teal Mobility, was supplied under a “multi-year” contract, though volumes remain undisclosed.

Located in northeastern France, the Teal station has a dispensing capacity of 1 tonne per day, offering hydrogen at 350 bar and 750 bar.

The company stressed the new French refuelling station “opens up links” to Germany, Luxembourg, and Belgium, countries where Teal has numerous refuelling stations, both operational and in development.

Matthieu Guesné, CEO of Lhyfe, called the agreement with Teal a “strong signal, both of the growth of green hydrogen in mobility, and of the robustness of our model”.

It adds a growing number of hydrogen refuelling supply agreements secured by the firm.

With this, Lhyfe claims to have become Europe’s leader in terms of renewable fuel of non-biological origin-compliant green hydrogen production and delivery capacity for heavy goods vehicles.

The company currently operates 21MW of capacity across France and Germany, and plans to increase installations by 70% in 2026.
