Dubbed, Lhyfe Heroes, it aims to match potential consumers looking to implement hydrogen solutions, or those already in the process of switching, with suppliers.

Lhyfe says it hopes the free to use portal will enable the creation of a complete ecosystem that connects existing hydrogen producers, fuel station developers, fuel distributors, and vehicle manufacturers with end users.

The French-based company has said the automotive giant Stellantis, which manufacturers brands such as Citröen, Peugeot, and Opel, is among those to have jointed the project.

In October (2022), Stellantis announced hydrogen-powered versions of the Peugeot Expert, Citröen Jumpy, and Opel Vivaro would be mass produced, seeing up to 5,000 of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicles produced each year.

Commenting on the launch, Peter Kuhn, Light Commercial Vehicle Product Manager at Stellantis, said, “Lhyfe Heroes is an extremely welcome initiative – as manufacturers and producers, we all face the same obstacles concerning the complexity of moving forward in a sector very much under construction. We are delighted to be part of this opportunity to simplify access to the hydrogen market.”

H2 View understands the new platform has a three-step approach:

Assess how hydrogen can reduce carbon dioxide emissions from businesses or operations
Identify solutions available on the market to make a project reality
Connect with manufacturers of hydrogen vehicles, fuel station developers, hydrogen generator suppliers and hydrogen producers

Matteiu Guesné, CEO and founder of Lhyfe, commented, “At Lhyfe, we have an obsession with moving fast because energy transition needs to happen now. We have designed Lhyfe Heroes to save time for the entire value chain. We call upon all players in the hydrogen chain to come and list themselves to speed up hydrogen transition and reduce our carbon emissions as quickly as possible.”
