Clean hydrogen and energy groups are urging Brussels to defend the EU’s carbon pricing system as several member states push to weaken it.

Lobby groups representing the wind, solar, hydrogen, and nuclear sectors argued against short-term interventions on the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), the bloc’s tool to charge industry and power producers based on their carbon dioxide emissions.
