Under a Letter of Intent with UK-based Element 2, HRS will supply its dual-pressure station, capable of dispensing 14kg of hydrogen per hour.
H2 View understands that the mobile facility can be deployed to a new site in just 10 days and brings the number of HRS refuelling stations in the UK up to four.
“This collaboration illustrates our shared vision for the decarbonisation of transport, the progress of our international diversification strategy and the renewed confidence of our client, the UK leader in hydrogen charging,” HRS stated online.
The agreement follows up on a previous deal with Element 2 to install its HRS14 infrastructure in Darlington, the UK.
Element 2 is spearheading a £4.1m ($5.4m) hydrogen hub development at Teesside Airport, an initiative which has been backed by the British government.
Under the previous agreement, HRS agreed to install its dual-pressure hydrogen infrastructure at Teesside Airport.
The two agreements with the French infrastructure firm form part of Element 2’s broader strategy to deploy 50 hydrogen refuelling stations within five years.
