One country taking vast strides in securing its hydrogen future is Peru who has released a proposal of a roadmap for green hydrogen dubbed Bases and Recommendations for the elaboration of the green hydrogen strategy in Peru.

Released by H2 Peru, the Peruvian hydrogen association, the strategy features various key landmarks and proposals that could help establish Peru as a hotspot for green hydrogen production and become a key global exporter.

Daniel Cámac, President of H2 Peru, said,” We present the proposal for a green hydrogen roadmap in Peru to the Energy and Mines Commission of the Congress of the Republic of Peru, to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, to the Ministry of Energy and Mines and to the Ministry of the Environment.

“Through its proposals, H2 Peru seeks to support the Peruvian State in this green hydrogen race, which is to build the national strategy, develop the operational framework and encourage the appearance of pilots and projects, and promote the deployment of energy of the future in our country.”
