Currently the project is in the front-end engineering design providing the group with more information to support the implementation of hydrogen into the city.
Partners of H-Vision include Air Liquide, bp, Shell, Port of Rotterdam, Equinor, ebn, Gasunie, Vopak, ExonMobil, Deltalinqs, and Onyx Power.

Rotterdam’s large-scale production of hydrogen in combination with its strategic location to develop into an international hub, where hydrogen is made, used and traded, allows H-Vision to form the start of a hydrogen economy in Rotterdam and to contribute to nation climate objectives.
Two locations have been identified as perfect locations for development of a hydrogen production plant: the Maasvlakte or the Botlek.
A decision on which location will be chosen to create a hydrogen plant will be decided in the future.
