They complement the previous team set-up consisting of Robin von Plettenberg (CEO and CSO), Frank Zimmermann (CFO), Marius Zasche (CTO), Dr. Dominik Heiß (EVP Strategy & Products) and Dr. Joachim Herrmann (EVP Innovation).

Meister is responsible for supply chain management, production of stacks and electrolysers as well as quality management, and tasked with optimising company procedures and processes.

One particular focus of attention will be on the construction of a Gigafactory in Hamburg as well as the further industrialisation and expansion of the supply chains.

The company is currently investing heavily in the development of its two main facilities, in Augsburg and Braak, and is establishing local teams in Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands. At present, the company is looking to hire more than 60 engineers and specialists in all areas.

Kostka was recently Head of HR Operations & Culture at the renewable energy provider Enpal, where she set up the People division. In her new role, the focus is on creating a ‘dynamic and innovative corporate culture’ and strengthening structures and employer brands.

H-Tec Systems, part of the MAN Energy solutions Group, develops PEM electrolysers and electrolysis stacks for the production of green hydrogen.

This year it provided two ME450 PEM electrolysis systems to Gruyère Hydrogen Power SA (GHP). In future, GHP will supply the green hydrogen to an international industrial company based in Switzerland. Gas-powered engines will be operational there using this emission-free energy source and the systems are scheduled to start up operations by end of next year.
