BWSC has already worked with the electrolyser OEM on the installation of its 6MW X-Series prototype system at Greenlab in Skive Denmark, covering site layout and preparation. The system is now in operation and producing green hydrogen, according to GHS.

Under the new, extended collaboration agreement, GHS and BWSC aim to offer “full hydrogen plants” with pre-engineered and optimised site layouts, based on the X-Series module for plants between 6 and 50MWin European markets.

It is hoped the partnership will pave the way for mid-scale hydrogen and Power-to-X projects to reduce time and risk during project maturation and execution while improving overall hydrogen plant economics.

“Together we can achieve more and simplify and de-risk procurement and construction of full hydrogen plants,” remarked, Dimitris Likouressis, Chief Commerical Officer at BWSC.

Søren Rydbirk, Chief Commercial Officer at GHS, said the efforts on the Greenlab installation proved the value of the cooperation.

“We believe this collaboration will contribute to accelerated project development and execution, benefiting green hydrogen projects across Europe,” Rydbirk added.

The partnership comes after GHS announced a similar collaboration with Bilfinger aimed at developing plant concepts for 50-100MW installations.
