Fortescue has amended a conditional power purchase agreement (PPA) for its 300MW Norwegian green hydrogen project, pushing the plant’s expected start-up beyond its original 2027 target.

Norwegian hydropower firm Statkraft said the PPA for Fortescue’s Holmaneset green hydrogen and ammonia plant has been pushed back to post-2029 and extended to a 10-year supply deal.
