Renowned automotive executive, Carl-Peter Forster, joins the board to advise the Group on strategic, market, and regulatory issues relating to the decarbonisation of the mobility sector, with hopes of helping guide the company through its scaling up process.
Carl-Peter Forster, commented, “It is exciting to join the EH’s Group advisory board in such formative times. I am convinced that EH Group’s unique design and manufacturing technology will enable an accelerated penetration of the rapidly developing market for high quality, yet affordable zero-emission propulsion. ”
Forster’s career in the automotive industry began at BMW, where he eventually became a member of the board responsible for all vehicle development projects. In 2001, he was appointed CEO of Tata Motors, including its Jaguar Land Rover unit.
Commenting on the addition of Forster, Christopher Brandon, co-founder of EH Group, said, “We are delighted to welcome Carl-Peter to our Advisory Board, to help us navigate the rapidly evolving automotive sector, and shifting sands of mobility decarbonisation. His deep insights and analysis, and strategic knowledge will be a vital asset to our growth,”
EH Group says it is witnessing strong demand for its fuel cell products including its 40kW fuel cells as range extenders for light commercial vehicles an 200kW fuel cell systems for heavy-duty off-road mobility.
In January this year (2022), the Group announced it had raised CHF5m ($5.06m) in a Pre-Series A fundraiser, which it said would enable it to expand production of its breakthrough hydrogen technologies and develop commercial fuel cell stack products.
