Revenues totalled €840,000 during the period, spurred by sales at the new H2 station in the Netherlands, with cash of €50.4m to the end of June.

In a statement, Everfuel said its results reflect that “the company is still in the initial stages of commercialising the green hydrogen value chain in its target markets”.

Everfuel – whose ambition is to make green hydrogen for zero emission mobility and energy supply commercially available across Europe – is targeting first hydrogen late this year at its initial hub in Fredericia, Denmark.

End-user activity continued to increase during the second quarter with a growing fleet of hydrogen taxis in Denmark and a full quarter of operation fuelling zero-emission buses in Heinenoord, the Netherlands.

It is engaging with partners, customers and authorities across the entire value chain, from production to distribution and fuelling. Its HySynergy Phase I is on track for first hydrogen in late 2022.

Jacob Krogsgaard, the founder and CEO of Everfuel, said, “The green hydrogen will be distributed to mobility customers, used to reduce CO2-emissions at the adjacent refinery and deliver excess heating to the local district heating network.”

The recently launched hub concept enables Everful to leverage its planned hydrogen production capacity through new long-term partnerships within industry and complement our growing position in mobility. “The hubs will be a key driver for our long-term growth and value creation for all stakeholders,” he added.

Set to be developed in two phases, the hub, set to be in located in Holstebro, is hoped to accelerate the scale-up of green hydrogen as a zero-emission fuel for industry and mobility, offering a safe, reliable and efficient supply chain of clean energy.

Two days later, Everfuel signed an agreement with Swedish-based Karlstads Energi to collaborate on the development of a hydrogen hub in Sweden.

Alongside signing an agreement with Crossbridge Energy on HySnergy Phase II hydrogen supplies, it has introduced a mobile Everfiller refuelling unit, marking the first Everfuel Tech product, and supporting testing of Volvo hydrogen trucks. It has received ‘multiple grants’ for new stations and technology development.

Krogsgaard said green hydrogen will be distributed to mobility customers, used to reduce CO2-emissions at the adjacent refinery and deliver excess heating to the local district heating network.
