Achieving a €6/kg total cost of ownership (TCO) for hydrogen fuel cell trucks by 2030 will make hydrogen transportation competitive with diesel, according to cellcentric’s Head of Sales, Marketing, and Communication.
Speaking at the Hydrogen Technology Expo in Hamburg, Germany, Joachim Ladra claimed that long-haul transportation will be a big part of the demand for hydrogen fuel cell technology, but costs are currently too high to achieve widespread use.
