
In a year that’s seen climate ambitions strained and hydrogen’s role in them come under bigger questions than before, COP30 could be a reckoning.
COP30 will take place in Belém, Brazil, from 10–21 November, and marks the deadline for countries to submit updated national climate plans (NDCs) under the 2015 Paris Agreement.
However, the conference takes place against a darkening climate backdrop.
