
California is leading a lawsuit against the Trump administration for axing billions in clean energy funding, including $1.2bn promised for the state’s clean region hydrogen hubs plans.
On Wednesday (18 February), California Attorney General Rob Bonta co-led a 13-strong group of attorneys general to file the suit in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
The complaint was joined by Colorado, Washington, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.
