Ballard Power Systems says its strategy remains unchanged following the US Department of Energy’s (DOE) decision to axe 223 clean energy projects worth a combined $7.5bn across its grant programmes.

While the October 2 announcement did not confirm which projects would be affected, Ballard confirmed to H2 View that it does not expect DOE support for the proposed 3GW hydrogen fuel cell plant in Rockwall, Texas.
