China’s Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co. (GuoFuHEE) has logged a RMB150m ($20.9m) order to supply 100MW of electrolysis equipment to a metallurgy player in Xinjiang. The order from Hami Tonghuide Green Casting Co. included 22 5MW pressurised alkaline electrolysers, gas-liquid treatment equipment, control and safety systems, and auxiliary kit. Acme’s second bid and seventh of the auction altogether sits near the bottom of the range, just above NTPC and Jakson Green’s, and far below its first, much higher ₹55.75/kg ($0.64/kg) bid. The unit supplied zero-emission, off-grid power to one of Taiwan’s hardest-hit regions during emergency relief efforts. Carbon280’s TRL6 prototype showcases its Hydrilyte technology at “an industrially relevant scale,” storing hydrogen as a liquid at ambient conditions for transport via existing fuel infrastructure. The US technology firm said that its MEA technology enables engines to be “efficiently cooled with smaller radiators that reduce weight and drag on the aircraft.” Stralis will install the technology onto its hydrogen-electric Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft. Located in Gorakhpur, the plant will produce green hydrogen for blending into compressed (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG).
