With nearly 600 delegates in attendance, the UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Conference (UKHFCC) in its 19th edition came as its largest yet, bringing together players across the UK market.

Hosted by Climate Change Solutions (CCS) in partnership with Hydrogen UK, the event saw a day of sessions covering transportation, stationary applications, mobility, regional and national collaboration, and heating and industry, as well as exhibiting.

While the conference offered a window seat view of the range of hydrogen project and technology developments across the UK, it also came as a cross section of the hopes of the UK hydrogen industry. Although many questions remain over future Government support, there is a clear desire to see projects progressing from paper, with “getting shovels in the ground” being a phrase widely used across the day.
