The companies claim SurfMoG H2 is the ‘most effective’ loT tool to monitor hydrogen accurately and continuously over months in the subsurface.
It is composed of an interchangeable gas analysis chamber, with an electrochemical sensor for hydrogen measurements up to 40,000ppm (4%).
It also features an inox probe, designed specifically to withstand the subsurface’s constraints, houses the sensor, battery and communication system and contains a high-strength plastic cover to protect antenna and assure accurate data transmission without interference.
45-8 Energy is specialised in subsurface exploration and production of eco-responsible gases such as hydrogen and helium.
Solexperts bases its core business on the development of ‘world-class’ geotechnical, hydrogeological and monitoring instruments.
SurfMoG H2 is available on a long-term rental basis (1 to 24 months) and has been designed for the simplest and most efficient user experience. It’s ready-to-use, has easy installation and basic maintenance and customised data visualisation platform.
It was originally designed to remove one of the technological barriers encountered by 45-8 Energy in the exploration of natural hydrogen in the subsurface.
Following the first test of the probe and the confirmation of its potential, its application has been made viable for gas exploration and production, gas storage, storage of radioactive waste, hydrogeology and geothermal energy.
