Linc Polska will use SFC’s fuel cells for the self-sufficient power supply of its iTower camera towers, which enable real time monitoring of large areas such as construction sites, festival grounds or industrial facilities and can be controlled remotely.
A permanent power supply is essential for the reliable operation of the systems and fuel cells can reliably supply the tower applications with environmentally friendly power anytime and anywhere.
The order will be fully recognised in sales and earnings in fiscal 2023.
SFC Energy supplies hydrogen and methanol fuel cells for stationary and mobile hybrid power solutions. Harald Dingemans, CEO of Linc Polska, said, “They (EFOY fuel cells) guarantee a continuous power supply, expand the iTower’s application possibilities, and are environmentally friendly.”
Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy, added, “We are pleased to have Linc Polska as a committed partner in the race to zero for a climate-neutral energy supply. The EFOY fuel cells are making a tangible contribution to this goal.”
SFC claims the EFOY fuel cells consume significantly less fuel, operate more efficiently, are quieter, and emit no harmful exhaust gases such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO) or particulate matter, making them an ideal solution to replace diesel generators.
Last year, SFC announced it was supplying 170 EFOY Pro 2800 hydrogen fuel cells to International Security Group (ISG) to be integrated into camera systems.
The fuel cells have a maximum output of 125W and a maximum charging capacity of 250Ah per day, it provides end devices with a lasting supply of green electricity.

The company also received an order from AWILCO worth €2m to double its order volume after previously ordering around 400 fuel cells.
SFC’s fuel cells were provided to the Danish company to support decarbonisation of civil surveillance and security applications.
