Hensoldt Nexeya France has placed an order for additional 60 units to support its electronic systems for aerospace, energy and transport industries.

Hephas Energy, based in Taiwan, ordered 20 electrolysers intended to be used in creating green hydrogen for electricity storage to support the country’s renewable energy goals.

Taiwan aims to become less dependent of fossil fuels and increase the share of renewable energies in the electricity mix to 20% by 2025, up from 5% in 2020.

Sebastian-Justus Schmidt, CEO of Enapter, said, “Customers worldwide are also using our highly scalable products to produce green hydrogen in more and more different industries and use cases.

“In this way, we are sustainably driving the replacement of fossil fuels in a wide range of application areas in the economy around the globe. We see a further increase in demand for decentralised hydrogen solutions that can be used easily and quickly in every field of application.”

The EL 4.0 was unveiled by Enapter last year, billed as a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution for hydrogen production that can be stacked and scaled for projects of any size.

Hensoldt Nexeya previously received 55 EL 4.0 electrolyser’s in December 2022.

Enapter recently received an order from South Korea for the delivery of two AEM electrolysers with a total capacity of 2MW.

The systems will be used in a 12.5MW hydrogen pilot project on Jeju Island.
