The Hydrogen Transition Hub will aim to bring together some of the top Canadian and International research institutions to tackle the real-world challenges of hydrogen transition policy.

The Hub is a unique mechanism to learn from each other, generate mutual benefit through the global hydrogen transition, and strengthen the bilateral relationship.

The goal of the Hub is to provide a critical evidence base for new growth centered upon the economic opportunities of hydrogen technology.

According to the Alliance, the Transition Hub will achieve multiple objectives such as foster collaboration to enhance hydrogen transition globally, establish robust bilateral networks and support Canada and counterpart country as leaders in hydrogen innovation and underpin the transformations of them into hydrogen economic powerhouses.

In addition to this, the Hub will also support co-ordination and sharing of information, best practices and research between Canadian and International organisations and Institutions and the private sector and provide greater visibility and a stronger presence on the international stage for hydrogen transition issues.

Lastly, the new partnership will enhance collaborative activities within the Canada Renewable Hydrogen Alliance and other relevant organisations and institutions.
