
EU-set green hydrogen mandates for transport and industry are set to come into force in Italy on Wednesday (4 February), after the country transposed the rules into national law.
The Legislative Decree 5/2026 will enter into force and implement the EU’s Renewable Energy Directive III (RED III) to accelerate and simplify renewable energy installations across Italy.
