This new agreement builds on an initial deal between the two companies signed earlier in the year.

With this agreement, Plug Power’s hydrogen electrolyser technology will provide 1MW of capacity to the world’s first offshore hydrogen production facility developed by Lhyfe in France.

Plug Power has stated that the new initiative will primarily serve on-road and off-road mobility applications with the two parties additionally considering partnership for an offshore hydrogen production plant in the US.
