The UK government will not reallocate funding from hydrogen projects awarded support under its first subsidy scheme if they fail to proceed, H2 View understands.

The clarification follows Scottish Power’s decision to pause development of its UK green hydrogen projects, including two that had been selected under the first Hydrogen Allocation Round (HAR1).
