Air Liquide-Siemens Energy JV ready for EU hydrogen goals amid slow industry progress

Air Liquide and Siemens Energy’s joint venture (JV) electrolyser gigafactory could cope with the foreseeable demand this decade but funding delays are slowing the uptake of the technology.

That’s according to Siemens Energy’s Senior Vice-President for Sustainable Energy Systems, Alexey Ustinov, and Air Liquide Engineering & Construction Vice-President for Strategic Partnerships, Dominique Rouge, who told H2 View that flexibility had been a key focus of the joint manufacturing operation.
