Topsoe is an engineering company developing solution in green hydrogen and its derivatives, as well as the so-called blue technologies, renewable fuels, and more.
As of July 1st, those services are reinforced with the appointment of Scaltritti, who has more than 20 years of leadership experience within sales, market development, pricing, and international business.
Scaltritti will be responsible for the company’s commercial offerings in existing markets as well as accelerating Topsoe’s position in the green energy market.
Before joining Topsoe, she served as Executive Vice-President at SONGWON Industrial Group, responsible for the group’s commercial activities, prior to which she worked for BASF, Cipa, and Nalco Holding Company.
Scaltritti holds a BSc in Organic Chemistry from University of Milan and an MBA from MIB Business School Politecnico in Milan.
Topsoe recently announced (May 23) its intention to construct the ‘world’s largest’ electrolyser plant with an initial 500MW capacity, which can be scaled to 5GW, for Power-to-X solutions.
The Danish company said the plant, which is set to be constructed in Herning, Denmark, will be operational by 2024, with its capacity scalable to 5GW per year – contributing to the European wide push towards renewable hydrogen use.
H2 View understands the proposed 23,000m2 plant will produce solid oxide electrolyser cells (SOEC) electrolysers with construction planned to commence in the second half of this year.
