The company is eyeing opportunities to scale it’s a nanoparticle hydrogen technology and continues to develop a production-quality prototype.

For this, a research and development lab in Coralville, Iowa, US, is supporting the company’s scaling mission by supporting the exploration of its nanoparticle hydrogen generator units by the end of 2022.

SunHydrogen has also stated it is finalising research partnerships with external membrane and catalyst developers to integrate these elements into the architecture of our nanoparticle-based hydrogen generator units.

The company has also set out several key targets for Q4 of 2022 including: Successful fabrication of semiconductor units at production-quality prototype scales, successful integration of membranes at production-quality prototype scales, successful integration of catalysts at production-quality prototype scales, and successful testing and demonstration of production-quality prototype units.
