Efficiency, cost and lead time are all top of the agenda for the trio, with Plug Power looking to successfully deliver hydrogen liquefiers into its growing portfolio of hydrogen production plants and for third party customers.

“Liquefaction capabilities were the last major element we needed to complete our turnkey product suite for delivering green hydrogen plants globally.”

Believed to be the largest buyer of liquid hydrogen globally, Plug Power hopes it growing national network of hydrogen plants will supply 500 tonnes of green hydrogen daily by 2025, and 1,000 tonnes daily by 2028.

With Atlas Copco and Five onboard, the company will now have added technical and manufacturing experience to help deliver on its goals.
