With a focus of Accelerating the Energy Transition, the in-person and digital summit will feature top executives, policymakers and investors addressing the challenges and potential opportunities in harnessing the full power of hydrogen.

With energy policy and security at the forefront of political agenda globally, particularly in Europe, hydrogen has found itself as the promising clean future of energy.

The European Union (EU) had doubled its target for green hydrogen production to cut its dependency on Russian oil and gas. Simultaneously, the rapid increase in fossil fuel prices has closed the cost gap for clean hydrogen as an energy source.

As policy support growths globally, large-scale hydrogen project development has been slow, with further questions about the availability of cheap renewable electricity to power green hydrogen production are still unanswered.

These hurdles will be brought into question at the FT Live event, with sessions covering green hydrogen, electrolysers market, Europe’s gas crisis, blue hydrogen, and hydrogen vs oil and gas. To view the full agenda, click here.

The event will feature speakers such as: Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, CEO of Hydrogen Europe; Jane Toogood, Sector Chief Executive at Johnson Matthey; Philippe Peccard, Vice-President of Clean Energy at Linde; Gazia Vittadina, Chief Technology and Strategy Officer at Rolls-Royce; and H2 View’s very own founder and CEO, John Raquet.
