Focused on boosting the evolving hydrogen economy, the Norwegian firm has now received support from Semcon in order to automate the production of its electrolyser stacks.
News of the partnering follows on from the duo’s originally announced collaboration, announced in November (2021) that set out to optimise the production of PEM electrolysers.
Robert Eliasson, Area Manager Production Development at Semcon, said, “We are happy and proud to contribute with our expertise in this Nordic collaboration, which ensures that both knowledge and production can be retained and developed in Sweden and our neighbour Norway.”
The hydrogen production collaboration is now powering ahead and hopes to expand over time.
Alejandro Barnett, Chief Technology Officer at Hystar, added, “We are very excited to continue our collaboration with Semcon and make sure our electrolyser stacks can be produced cost-effectively, automated and at high volumes.”
