The electrolyser plant is expected to be operational by mid-2023 and will be similar to the verification plant ongoing at Herøya Industripark however will be fine-tuned to the Japanese market.

This ultimately will support the growing Japanese hydrogen market and bolster the capabilities of the industry in Asia.

The value of the order is around $3m with the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and other system deliverables for a fill turn-key electrolyser plant to be supplied by third parties.
