H2 View’s North America Hydrogen Summit looked ahead to where the  hydrogen hubs of the future could be in the second session of the day, Hydrogen Hubs: Emerging.

With the state of New York having unveiled plans to develop the state into a green hydrogen hub with a bid to grab a share of federal funding, Devinder Mahajan, Director of the Institute of Gas and Technology at Stony Brook University kicked off the session.

Mahajan explained that recent movement in the state is lining up the pathway for hydrogen hub. He said, “The hydrogen hub coordinator is New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. Last month they had over 40 organisations sign NDAs.
