The Canadian firm today (April 11) said its proposed hydrogen station plans will serve the urban areas of Greater Liverpool, Greater Manchester, London and the Thames Estuary.

Together, the four sites are set to offer hydrogen production between 80MW and 160MW.

Supporting its ambitions, First Hydrogen hopes the sites will qualify for UK Government financial support for both the development and construction phases to deliver the country’s 10GW domestic hydrogen production ambition.

Today’s news is all part of First Hydrogen’s strategy to secure a domestic supply of fixed-price long-term green hydrogen fuel and distribution agreements.
